Is there anybody out there?

As you may have noticed, things have been a little quiet around here lately. I thought I would raise a flag and see if anyone salutes.

No, this isn’t an April Fool’s joke. I’m still Steve and I still exist.

If you are reading this, please let me know with a Hello! If there’s any interest, I’ll do a post about what I’ve been doing and what I’m up to now.

    Hi Steve,
Trust us, we did not mistake this for a joke, we ain’t no fools. It would have to be funny for that.
I have been messing with the Bricscad civil objects, and noticed they have a “3D Alignment” in there. Wow, they finally listened to me as I’ve had that in my tools for 15 years now.
They need to make it contain the alignment data, or hook to those in the explorer, I call “published”.
Then add decent interfaces to edit, as well as typical section, and start/stop limits for where the section changes.
I wonder who the lead developer is on that.
Anyway, saw your email on this post and thought to comment.
    thx

My outlook seems to have given up on RSS feeds, but I noticed this in my personal email. Always appreciate a good CAD writeup. I just poked around a little on your old posts and found how to get rid of InfoCentre, so that’s a bonus!

RSS doing its thing and picked up your post. Don’t check blogs nearly as often as I used to but still peek at my subscriptions every now and then.

hi THere, Steve, how are You doing?

after 25 years of working in architectural offices I seem to have the end of my rope.
well, at least, I am considering getting into a different line of work with NO experience

not yet. I would love to actually talk to (real) people instead of talking to my computer & my self.
so I am thinking about doing something with 0 experience/work history but I have desire to do so

otherwise. I now have a copy of Bricscad, a Autocad look alike, with improvements, doing freelance work
mostly FREE with no Lance work at home for a church ministry, designing 4 commercial kitchen for a big

Community Center (it is pie in the sky at the moment) and thinking about making 3d models of certain items
3d rendering is so cool, I did 3d work for 5 years FULL TIME and Loved everyminute of it.

Time for a change, not sure which way to go.

Take care. keep doing the good work.
